Growthpoint is proud to be a supporter of the Property Industry Foundation (PIF, the Foundation) which brings the industry together in collaboration with charity partners to break the cycle of youth homelessness and change lives for the better.

In November, our team of 10 took part in the 2022 Tour de PIF, raising $17,666 for the Foundation. The ‘Growthpoint Flyers’ completed the longest 70 km course on the day and finished third on the sponsorship leader board, smashing their original target of $10,000. They showed tremendous commitment to their training, fundraising efforts and in proudly wearing the Growthpoint lycra!

Funds will go towards the Haven House project in Shepparton, providing homes for young mums to live independently with their children, in partnership with Women’s Property Initiatives and The Bridge Youth Services.

We support and work with PIF in a number of ways, including our annual contribution, providing technical expertise on upcoming projects as a member of the Haven Project Committee in Victoria and through fund raising. Earlier this year we also supported PIF’s Hard Hat Day with a darts competition, focusing on mental health awareness in collaboration with our construction partners and sub-contractors and raising nearly $10,000 for PIF’s vital work.

Homelessness affects 44,000 young Australians, and each night, a third are being turned away from supported accommodation services. The Foundation exists to solve the problem of youth homelessness, bringing together the property and construction industry to build homes for homeless youth through the PIF House Program.
