Leading Australian retailer Myer Group will relocate its national head office to Growthpoint Properties Australia’s (Growthpoint’s) largest Victorian office building at 75 Dorcas Street, South Melbourne, Victoria.

Myer Group has taken possession of 13,679 sqm of A Grade office space across multiple levels at 75 Dorcas Street under an 11-year lease, joining a high-quality tenant mix including Mondelez Group, Auto Sports Group and ADCO Group.

With this being the largest new office lease in the Melbourne near-city market in 20261 , Ross Lees, Chief Executive Officer of Growthpoint said this outcome highlights continued demand for prime grade, well-connected office assets.

“Delivering a fully leased building with minimal downtime between ANZ’s lease ending in March 2026 and Myer’s lease commencing in June demonstrates the quality of the asset.

“We are very pleased Myer Group has selected 75 Dorcas Street as its new national head office and entrusted us for this important next chapter,” Mr Lees said.

Myer Group executive chair Olivia Wirth said the move to South Melbourne marked an important milestone bringing Myer and Apparel Brands team members together under one roof for the first time.

“A key part of the integration of the two businesses is having a place where our more than 1000 strong support office team can work and collaborate together as we continue with the creation of the wider Myer Group,” Ms Wirth said.

The recent opening of Anzac Station further enhances the building’s connectivity, providing direct access to the Melbourne CBD and surrounding amenities complemented by tram services along nearby St Kilda Road.

Nick Kost, Group Executive, Head of Property at Growthpoint said, “This lease reinforces the attractiveness of our portfolio, as demand continues to favour assets that combine flexible, appealing workspaces with well-connected locations.

“Growthpoint’s proactive asset management and partnership-led approach to tenants continues to deliver strong leasing outcomes, as we have worked closely with Myer Group to meet their occupancy requirements.”

Matt Cosgrave from Colliers represented Growthpoint and Steve Kingston from Charter Keck Cramer represented Myer Group.
